The 123 of digital imaging interactive learning suite - Review
The 123 of digital imaging learning interactive suite was developed in 2001 by Vincent Bockaert to update information on photography in both amateur photographers and professionals with an interactive format. Here we are nearly a decade later, and 123 of digital imaging is as accurate as usual, which is not easy to achieve in this fast pace world Digital Photography. That's the beauty of the product, and shows a true dedication to Vincent and his team are keeping this amazing product to date. It is not surprising after the imagery is very popular in schools and government agencies such as police and armed forces. In addition, many large manufacturers in the industry such as Intel, Nikon, Epson and other 123di used for internal training. High praise indeed!
I bought my copy of the first 123di (version 2) on 6 years ago, has increased by 4 version a few years ago and recently updated to their latest version, version 6.2. Digital imaging is not changed credible or convincing short periods of time and although I found the previous version to be very well done I felt it was time to see what Vincent and his crew are up to the latest version of 123di. I bought the latest version a few weeks ago, here's a quick examination.
The unique aspect of 123 of digital imaging is that it is an ebook that has so much more than what most of them we give. beautiful illustrations included with animated sequences and interactive interface make the product a real pleasure to go if you are a beginner or a professional photographer. Over 5500 pages covering topics ranging from understanding of digital images (lighting, sensors, etc.) in the lens and selection the camera, exposure, composition and image editing. A large section edited by RAW is available for advanced users and I recommend even for beginners to explore. A unique concept are 3 levels of education; starter, basic and advanced. It is possible to choose a theme and work your way through information based on your knowledge at the time to pursue more advanced techniques that you feel more comfortable.
While 123 of digital imaging, particularly regarding the use of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements workflow techniques Publishing information and applies to almost any photo editing software out there even if you use a section of Adobe products offer much useful and related information. Lightroom and Adobe ImageReady is also well documented.
Interest beyond the scope Photography now is an important section on the management, viewing, sharing and printing your photos. The section on managing your image must be a essential reading for anyone who values the work they do. Saving images and organizing your photos so you can see it is covered detail. For users of Nikon Nikon is a special edition containing several hundred additional pages over the coverage of Capture NX 2.2, Capture NX 1.4, 4.4 and Nikon Capture Nikon Scan. Being a Nikon user This is the version that I bought I found the information and Nikon NX2 (RAW my editor of choice) really well equipped and very informative. I find that I tend to the reference section, I work with images and is infinitely better than the user manual NX2 official. Again, the use of many illustrations really make sense for many concepts much more easily than just reading a book or typical eBook. I do not use other Nikon programs, but expect the information contained in 123di is equally good.
123di is available in a standard edition and extended edition. Extended version is well worth the additional purchase price, even if you buy the regular version or the special version of Nikon. For $ 10 more than you With ability to bookmark pages, add notes on the page, the search for several keywords and a host of other benefits. With more than 5,500 pages of information available I found this to be a must have to keep track of what I am learning and exploration.
What that my decision this product? As a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience as I think I have a good knowledge of photography techniques. Also I used digital photography because of the dark ages about 10 years ago and has taught many photography classes over the years. In this spirit I was surprised what I learned from the guide to digital photography and can be found with 123 of digital imaging as a teaching tool in future courses. For the photographer because he is a few dollars from the study of potential and great user interface makes information available in a few seconds. For experienced a lot of valuable digital photography is also available.

How do I configure my computer to get a mirror image of the second Hard Drive to protect my digital images.?
When I working on my digital photos, I want my computer to automatically create a backup image on a second hard drive.
Want to use RAID 1 (mirroring) if you are using XP Pro (I believe 2000Pro) that can convert both disks to dynamic disk to disk by management after will create a mirror. Or you can get a raid controller card.
